Saint Jacques de Siran, Bordeaux Supérieur 2019
Saint Jacques de Siran is made at Château Siran in Margaux, and is the third wine of the estate. The soil is heavier than at Siran but it is still one of the best poor man’s Margaux around and a great bargain! The vines average 25 years old and the blend comprises 80% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. I was very impressed by this when I recently tried it, and it is drinking well now.
